mattressindex.org participates in affiliate marketing programs, including the Amazon Associates Program, and may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links on this site. We want to be transparent about how those relationships work and how they affect — or do not affect — our content.
How our affiliate relationships work
When you click an affiliate link on mattressindex.org and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission or referral fee from the merchant at no extra cost to you. These fees come from the merchant’s marketing budget and do not increase the price you pay. Commissions are tracked through unique affiliate links, cookies, or other tracking methods provided by the retailer.
Examples of programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates: We link to products sold on Amazon and may earn a referral fee on qualifying purchases.
- Other affiliate networks and retailers: We also work with mattress brands, bedding retailers, and third‑party affiliate networks to provide reviewers and buying guides.
Why we use affiliate links
Affiliate links help support the work that goes into mattressindex.org — including product testing, expert reviews, lab research, and site maintenance. Commissions allow us to spend more time researching, testing, and updating content so readers get accurate, timely information.
Our editorial integrity
We maintain strict editorial standards. Our product recommendations, rankings, and reviews are based on independent testing, expert analysis, and user feedback. Participation in an affiliate program does not influence which products we review or recommend. If a mattress or accessory is recommended, that recommendation reflects our honest assessment of its performance, value, and suitability for consumers.
Conflicts of interest and transparency
- No paid placements: We do not accept payment to feature a product without disclosing that relationship.
- Objective criteria: Reviews are based on consistent evaluation criteria such as comfort, support, durability, materials, and warranty.
- Updated content: We periodically re‑test and update our guides to reflect new models and user experiences.
What this means for you
You can trust that mattressindex.org aims to provide honest, research‑based information. Affiliate income supports the site but does not determine the editorial outcomes. If you prefer not to use affiliate links, you can visit merchant sites directly by searching for the product name.
Thank you for reading and for supporting our work by using the links on mattressindex.org when they are helpful to you.
