Buying Guide
What to consider when choosing a full XL folding mattress:
- Thickness and support: Higher-density foams (6 inches) typically offer better support for daily use, while thinner models save space but may feel firmer.
- Cover and cleaning: Removable, machine-washable covers simplify upkeep, especially in shared spaces or dorms.
- Ventilation and cooling: Gel-infused memory foams and breathable covers help with hot sleep environments.
- Portability: Look for folding design, carrying handles, and included bags for easy transport.
- Multi-function use: Consider whether you need sofa-bed capabilities, floor mat, or guest bed formats.
- Storage space: Tri-fold designs should occupy minimal room when stored; measure your closet or under-bed space.
