The best Moses basket waterproof sheet depends on your mattress dimensions and whether you want a waterproof barrier built in. Biloban is best for smaller mattresses around 28 by 13 inches, while Magik & Kover suits a 16-by-30-inch mattress. Cutebeams offers a broad stated size range for several bassinet shapes. The other picks below are breathable fitted sheets, not waterproof protectors, so they are alternatives for comfort rather than spill protection.

Biloban Quilted Waterproof Protector
Best for: Buyers whose mattress measures about 28 by 13 inches and who want a two-pack. This protector has a 100% bamboo viscose surface, absorbent quilted filling, and a waterproof layer. Biloban says the surface is breathable, moisture-wicking, and designed not to make plastic crinkle noise.
The deep skirt and elastic band are intended to create a snug fit on most Moses basket mattresses and some Silver Cross stroller bassinet mattresses. It was selected for its specific smaller dimensions and combination of waterproofing and a soft quilted surface.
Limitation: The stated 28-by-13-inch size is smaller than many bassinet pads. Measure the mattress and check its shape before choosing this option.
Cutebeams Waterproof Fitted Sheets
Best for: Shoppers comparing sheets for oval, rectangle, hourglass, and Moses basket mattresses. This two-pack has a soft surface and an integrated, noiseless TPU waterproof layer intended to protect against urine, milk, and sweat.
The full elastic edge is designed for mattresses up to 4 inches thick. The listing gives an approximate fit range of 16 to 21 inches wide by 30 to 35 inches long, making it a better choice when the basket pad falls within those measurements. Its range of stated shapes and dimensions makes it a versatile pick among the waterproof options.
Limitation: The listed dimensions are much larger than a compact 28-by-13-inch pad. Avoid choosing it based on the “universal fit” description alone; confirm the actual mattress dimensions first.
Magik & Kover Waterproof Mattress Pad
Best for: Buyers with a 16-by-30-inch mattress who want a waterproof protector with a cotton terry surface. The pad uses a TPU waterproof membrane and an elastic band intended to hold it in place and keep it flat.
The maker describes the cotton terry surface as breathable and skin-friendly. This option was selected because its dimensions are clearly stated and it combines a familiar terry surface with liquid protection. The listing names several bassinet models, but mattress measurements remain the most useful fit check.
Limitation: It is designed around a 16-by-30-inch pad, so it may not fit smaller oval baskets or other dimensions securely.
GRSSDER Stretchy Fitted Sheets
Best for: Parents who want two soft, stretchy fitted sheets rather than a waterproof cover. The jersey knit fabric is described as breathable and sweat-absorbent, with four-way stretch and an elastic bottom. The stated dimensions are 32 by 16 by 5 inches, and the listing names oval, round, rectangle, and hourglass shapes.
This is included as a comfort-focused alternative for shoppers who do not require a waterproof barrier. The stretch and encased elastic may make fitting easier when the mattress dimensions are compatible.
Limitation: The product features do not describe a waterproof layer. Choose a separate protector if liquid protection is essential, and verify dimensions before buying.
meowcards Muslin Bassinet Sheets
Best for: Buyers who prefer muslin cotton and want a two-pack of machine-washable sheets. The product is listed as 33 by 17 by 3 inches and is intended for rectangle, oval, and hourglass bassinet mattresses. An elastic band at the bottom is designed to help the sheet fit securely.
This option was selected as a breathable fitted-sheet alternative for shoppers who may already have a separate mattress protector. The listed dimensions offer a useful comparison point when checking a basket pad.
Limitation: The features do not state that these sheets are waterproof. They are not a substitute for a waterproof protector when spill or moisture protection is needed.
Buying Guide: How to Choose a Moses Basket Waterproof Sheet
How do you find the right size?
Measure the mattress length, width, and thickness, and note whether it is oval, rectangular, or another shape. Compare those measurements with the product’s stated dimensions and fit range. A sheet described as universal may still be too large or small for a particular basket. A loose or poorly fitting cover is not a good match; follow the basket and mattress maker’s guidance for bedding.
Do you need a waterproof layer or just a fitted sheet?
A waterproof protector is designed to help shield the mattress from liquids. A standard cotton, jersey, or muslin sheet provides a fabric surface but is not waterproof unless the product features explicitly say it has a waterproof barrier. If you choose a separate protector and sheet, check that the combination fits the mattress as intended.
Which surface material should you compare?
These products list bamboo viscose, cotton terry, jersey knit, and muslin. Compare the described feel and care instructions with your preferences, but do not treat a fabric description as proof of a particular performance beyond the product’s stated features. For a spare during laundry, consider whether a two-pack suits your routine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are all Moses basket sheets waterproof?
No. A fitted sheet is not necessarily waterproof. Look for an explicitly stated waterproof membrane or barrier in the product features.
Can I use a bassinet sheet on a Moses basket?
Some products list Moses baskets among their intended shapes, but fit depends on mattress measurements and shape. Check both before buying.
Which waterproof option fits a 16-by-30-inch mattress?
Magik & Kover lists a 16-by-30-inch mattress pad. Confirm that the mattress dimensions and shape match before ordering.
Is the GRSSDER sheet waterproof?
The listed features describe stretchy jersey fabric and an elastic bottom, but do not state that it is waterproof.
Should I choose a larger sheet for extra room?
No. Compare the product dimensions with the mattress and choose a fitted option intended for that size. Extra fabric does not guarantee a secure fit.
